Job Responsibilities

Teamwork with outher technicians, service advisors, parts department, managers, and at times customer interactions is essential. Our techs need to have ability to perform accurate and efficient professional diagnostic inspections, repair work, ensure proper completion of work, follow protocols by manufacturer and the dealership. 

• Examine and accurately assess/diagnose vehicles using system diagnostice and testing
• Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor
• Communicate additional service requests to service advisor
• Perform thorough, efficient, timely and quality repair work
• Provide labor estimates to service advisor
• Monitor repair time and update service advisor
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and safety standards all times 
• Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
• Assist in mentoring technician trainees
• Attend company and factory training
• Keep current with factory technical bulletins and training
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)

Qualifications/Experience

• Ability to diagnose and repair automotive mechanical problems efficiently
• ASE Certification
• Need to be able to lift, bend, stand, and move without impairment and operate shop tools
• Professionalism
• Must be able to pass background check, driving records, and drug screening test
