Job Summary

 i.g. Burton is seeking an entry level energetic, motivated individual to join our Facilities Maintenance team. You will learn about and address common maintenance issues across multiple properties in this role.  Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a desire to learn new skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule to respond to emergencies.

 Duties

• Performs various maintenance for facilities, including, but not limited to, carpentry, painting, plumbing, roofing, floor polishing/waxing and electrical trades work.
• Assembles, repairs, maintains, and moves furniture, such as desks, cabinets, tables, chairs, shelves, and related fittings and fixtures.
• Special onsite event coordination
• Conducts routine inspections and maintenance of heating, electrical, and air conditioning equipment; replaces filters.
• Inspects facilities and grounds for safety and security; identifies and reports hazardous conditions and facility maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Follows safe working practices and makes appropriate use of related safety equipment.
• Performs custodial tasks and assists with pest control measures.
• Proficiency with an online ticketing system for assigned maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to maneuver up and down stairs and ladders
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record
• The ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
